Definition of Done (DoD)

The definition of done determines when a work item is finished in agile terms. Due to the several meanings that the word “done” may have, it is important for all team members to have the same meaning of the term. Although the definition of done is defined by the team, it is necessary some basics checkpoints in order to determine the quality, for that the next checkpoints should exist in any definition of done for any team.

In summary, the definition of done is a group of checkpoints to determine that some work item is done. If some of those checkpoints are not accomplished, the work item cannot be finished.
