Conversion settings

offers a variety of conversion settings for Teradata, Oracle, and SQL Server. In the following links you can find specific documentation about how the conversion settings work for each source platform:

  1. To customize the conversion settings in the portal, follow these steps:

a. Converting from the project wizard:

  1. After creating a project and uploading , click on the Change Settings button.

2. Change the settings you need and click on the Save Settings button. They will be synchronized in the IDE too.

3. You can also click the Reset Settings button to go back to the default values.

4. Start the conversion by clicking on the Start Conversion button, it will be performed using the previously saved settings.

b. Converting from the project home page:

1. Expand the Code section by clicking on the down-facing arrow.

2. Click on the Change Settings button.

3. Change the settings you need and click on Save Settings button. They will be synchronized in the IDE too.

4. You can also click on the Reset Settings button to go back to the default values.

5. Start the conversion by clicking on the Start Conversion button, it will be performed using the previously saved settings.

2. To customize the conversion settings in the IDE, follow these steps:

3. Right-click the file or folder you want to convert and select the BlackDiamond Conversion Settings option from the contextual menu.

3. Change the settings you need. They will be autosaved and applied to all the future project conversions.

4. The customized conversion settings will also be synchronized with the web portal.
